Sciatica

(shooting sciatic nerve pain, lower back pain, weird feeling in leg)

I’ve been going to see a (wonderful, very knowledgeable) regular chiropractor for about 8 years. I was diagnosed with at least 1 herniated disc in my lower back about 1 ½ years ago, and only if I could (financially) go see my chiropractor once a week would the symptoms be at bay.

I had sciatic nerve pain shooting all the way to my toes & halfway up my torso, on a regular basis. Last fall I spent 3 weeks flat on my back , alternating heat & cold therapy, unable to spend time with my young son. I took ibuprofen (Advil) which messed up my stomach (still having terrible heartburn 4 months later).

After the first correction, I was a little sore & tired, but rested for the required 24 hours. That was 2 ½ weeks ago. My spine was 1 whole inch off center, my left leg ½ inch shorter than the other. When I came back for my next correction, I felt much better & was already able to move around & do more things than in many months. After my 2nd correction, I have been able to move around & exercise. Today is 13 days after my 2nd correction & I just today got the first signs of needing one again.

I am so grateful to Dr. Monika & Franz Family Chiropractic for giving me back my mobility! Never again have I had sciatic nerve pain or had to lie on my back to rest! Now I can finish nursing school!

(sciatica, low back pain, shoulder pain, headaches)

I have had headaches for as long as I can remember. The shoulder and back pain have been for several years. With the low back pain then I had discomfort running down my right leg, making it difficult to sit.

After being x-rayed and adjusted I felt relief the same day. I've been seen twice since and my shoulder pain and the pain that went down my right leg is gone.

I have been under chiropractic care for over 26 yrs and this is the best I have felt. My other adjustments were completely different and I felt relief for a short time, but this seems to be more effective!
